Special Colleciton Project 2018
OMEDELBAR limited collection by Bea Åkerlund, who is a Swedish born fashion activist & costume designer known for her innovative and over the top style. Her most famous works include Lady Gaga's 'Papparazzi' outfit, Madonna's superbowl costume and the yellow dress Beyoncé wore in her 'Lemonade' video.
This store area is mainly for displaying special limited collections or collaborations, it is usually located at the beginning of the showroom area. Therefore with this natural good spot, it's important to catch customers' eyes with a loud display.
The OMEDELBAR collection comes with variety of product range and mostly focuses on the bedroom, closet. So the display idea is a main bedroom and a huge walk-in closet.
Because the products are extremely decorative, therefore how to enhance the products without stealing their characters and be bold and loud in the meantime is very important in this case.
We chose to use black and white trips to cover the whole walls and floors, that way it matches the black theme furniture and also make the red and gold products pop out.
And we also made a display island in the middle of the walk-in closet room as a double function shelf.
Most of the products sold out within one week after the display was revealed!
