6 days trip in Kuala Lumper and Langkawi

That day I booked a plane ticket to Malaysia.
It was my first time travel alone AND second time travel abroad (last time I was only 10)
I made this this decision cause I was a little confused about life at that time and really needed a break from my job which has a really fast pace and a lot of pressure.
The reason why I choosing travel alone was because it has always been a really new and cool thing to me, it's a mixed feeling of nervous and excitements of the unknown. Also i have a pretty good number of friends that had tried travel alone before and really recommended that. So I thought I must go and tried it myself.
''If you want that something special in life, you must do something you've never done before.''

An inspiring quote from my favorite movie "The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty", while I was on the plane.

I felt totally overwhelmed mixed feelings when I got off the plane. It was almost 10pm, a girl with baggages in a unfamiliar country. Took a deep breath, put away all the anxieties, managed to buy a sim card, find the bus station, head to the big city--Kuala Lumper.

Next morning, woke up in my lovely hostel. Having breakfast with my new room mate, a friendly Korean girl.

When you're proud of yourself surviving trough the first day!

The first couple of things i learned about traveling alone were: you must have an open minded to either make friends or just ask a random stranger for your destinations. The other is, you're totally in charge of your plans right now. No one's gonna ask you to go anywhere, whatever you want to do today, take it fast or slow, just free free to do it.

Exploring the capital of Malaysia.
It's a special city which a bunch of new and old buildings coexist at the same time, and lots of temples (masajiid). It's a place full of local cultures and exotic atmosphere.

A small church i encountered in a rain.

At night, exploring the famous landmark of Kuala Lumper--Petronas Twin Towers. The cute girl on the right side was my Korean roommate.

Late night snacks--Indian food. By the way, in Malaysia there're all kinds of exotic foods all together, Indian, Thai, Chinese etc. You'll definitely not be starving.

Also lots of nice bar at night.

The next day, saying goodbye to the two lovely friends in our room, we hugged and wish luck for each other then i left for the next destination. Saying goodbye is the least thing i like to do, i find it so hard especially you've already started to build the connection between each other. This was another thing i learned during this trip, you and your traveling companion need to have the tacit agreement that this is like a short relationship, you can leave contact informations for each other, but when it comes to the separate moment, you need to have a big heart to say goodbye and knowing that you might not have the chance seeing each other again.
The beautiful thing is, when you meet someone who can share their aspect of life with you, and get so inspired. It doesn't matter how long you being together, it's about what you bring each other into their memories even become others' life advices, something we'll occasionally think of at some point in life. That's the true meaning of friends when you're traveling.
5/31~6/2 Langkawi (A small vacation island)

The Old Town White Coffee, a famous leading chain coffee store in Malaysia (It's a bit like Starbucks in Malaysia version). This meal set is my fav during the time i stayed there. The white coffee was worth a try.

Officially came to my favorite part--beach days.

The most unforgettable part was me and my new Chinese girl friend (who lived in the same hostel as me, found me on the beach reading book alone) , we getting to know each other, swimming and tanning together until sunset.

The most beautiful scene i captured on the beach that day.

At night, after having dinner together, we heading to the beautiful bar besides the beach. Watching some shows and have a little drinks.

Lovely friends we made that day! (The owner of the bar on hosts!)

The next day, my friend didn't seem to wake up yet. So i packed up my books, beach towel, tripod, hopped on an uber heading to a well-known beach on the island--Dan jung rou beach.

I spent all afternoon reading, tanning, swimming, and of course, some photoshoots on this beautiful beach.
Last Two Days 6/3-4
Back to Kuala Lumper for a night then to the airport for my return flight.

Mentioned of my last night in this hostel (Paper plane hostel, the comfiest place i've stayed during that 6 days)
If you go there make sure to visit! The host there was super nice. He taught me how to enjoy life and do every little thing in it right, even you're just making a bowl of instant roman.
Do things treat yourself make yourself happy, cause you're worth it.:)
